OGAWANA MIX PRO WITH CHLORELLA
What is chlorella?
chlorella litterally means "small green leaf" and was discovered in 1890 by the dutch microbiologist M.W. Beijerinck. It is a single celled sweet water algea that belongs to the algea family of the Eukaryoten. It does not have roots, bark or leaves like other plant species. This microscopically small plant has a vibrant green color thanks to the chemical called chlorophyl. There are many types of Chlorella, but the types which are most used in feed supplements are: Chlorella Vulgaris and the Chlorella Pyrenoidosa.
Why is chlorella so distinct?
Chlorella is bursting with healthy nutrients; it is rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, nucleic acids, essential amino acids, enzymes, proteins, the phytonutrient chlorophyll, echinenone and carotenoids such as astaxanthin, canthaxanthin, flavoxanthin, loraxanthin, neoxanthine, xanthophyll and violaxanthin. But one of the most special properties of chlorella is that it has a powerful cleansing effect in the body.
Chlorella has a fiber like mucopolysacharide membrane wall which binds harmfull compounds to the chlorella but leaves the healthy nutrients alone. Thanks to that is chlorella a powerfull and 'smart' natural cleaner.
Like stated above, chlorella is rich in chlorophyl, a natural cleaning chemical which helps to clean the guts and blood of the fish. It also helps the fish to take in oxygen much more efficiently. furthermore does chlorophyl help to destroy harmfull substances such as fungi and pesticides. chlorophyl also contains magnesium, which stimulates the brain and nervous system and also protects it from harmful chemicals
Chlorella contains the fytonutrient sporopollenine, a chemical which binds neurotoxins better to itself then anything else. other then heavy metals such as lead, mercury, nickel and aluminum it can also bind biotoxins to itself such as tuberculosis, lyme desease, tetanus and fungi to naturally help remove these chemicals from the body. it can also filter out xenobiotica from the body such as: fytates, dioxins, pesticides and industrial waste. it can also help remove preservatives and artificial flavourings and colours from the body.
Chlorella stimulates the natural cleansing mechanics of the body
It does this by increasing the glutathion value. Glutathion removes free radicals from the body and increases the abilities of anti-oxidents such as vitamin C and E. When the glythation values are too low the fish is less capable to handle stress and remove toxic chemicals. according to many investigations in amerika and europe it has been proven that chlorella is responsible for the removal of heavy metals and a hand full of other toxins. especially in japan is there a interest in chlorella for many decades now (see Ichimura, 1973 and Horikoshi, 1979).
other health benefits of chlorella
Chlorella is not only known as a detox supplement. It also has a whole lot of other health benefits because it is rich in healthy nutrients. chlorella also helps with a healthy digestion. it keeps the blood sugar stable with the help of proteins. it also helps constipation by supporting healty gut flora.
- Contains very high values of proteins
- Contains all 8 essential amino acids
- Helps with a healthy gut and the digestion
- supports the blood sugar
- supports the acid-base balance in the body
- supports the hormone balance
- helps to fight infections and prevent them
- Contains all vitamins except vitamin D
- Stimulates the working of the liver
THESE THREE FEED TYPES DIFFER FROM OTHER FEED BY COMBING A HIGH-QUALITY BASIC GRAIN WITH ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS SUCH AS:
Beta Glucans: which activate the most important immune cells and thus improve the metabolism and resistance of the Koi.
Garlic: Garlic is a rich source of Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3 and C. Adding garlic to the food provides a purifying effect of the intestines, an antibacterial effect. This has the advantage of an increased vitality, resistance and intestinal flora of your Nishikigoi.
Propolis has a positive influence on the immune system in general and on the liver especially, the immune system, the self-cleaning ability of the body, the prevention and cure of dropsy stomach, fin rot, the development of the bones and the skin quality.
Montmorillonite clay: The addition of calcium montmorrilonite clay to the feed removes harmful toxins from the body and improves the digestion of the fish.
Astaxanthin guarantees an intense coloring of koi without discolouring the white scales, which results in a high-contrast drawing. Astaxanthin is chemically related to carotene (in carrots) and vitamin A and belongs to the group of carotenoids. Astaxanthin is also a strong anti-oxidant, with functions comparable to vitamin E and protects the fish against the harmful influence of UV light.
Vitamin B2. Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin is the stress vitamin. It ensures that the Koi can better handle situations that can cause stress. Also supports the building of muscles and mucous membranes. Ensures the breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
Vitamin B3. Helps with energy production and promotes nervous system function.
Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 or Pyridoxine, together with vitamins B11 and B12, ensures the absorption of iron by the body and this vitamin is involved in the formation of red blood cells. These three vitamins also ensure proper functioning of the nervous system and are involved in amino acid metabolism. In particular, increasing resistance.
Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 or Cobalamin together with vitamins B6 and B11 ensures the absorption of iron by the body and it is involved in the formation of red blood cells. Deficiency of these vitamins can lead to anemia. These three vitamins also ensure proper functioning of the nervous system and are involved in the amino acid.
Vitamin E: Stimulates the formation of fertility hormones. To prevent antioxidant chain reactions. It ensures that the cells cannot be destroyed by some reaction.
Vitamin H: (Biotin) Stimulates Growth
Vitamin C: For building skeleton. Improved resistance and deformation of the gills and susceptibility to disease
