The MPF Biochamber 250 is a high-performance biological multi-chamber filter designed for large koi ponds and professional pond filtration systems. Engineered for high flow rates up to 50 m³/h, it delivers consistent and reliable biological filtration under demanding conditions.

Its spacious chamber layout ensures excellent water flow and biological stability.

Flexible biological filtration media options

The Biochamber 250 features three separate biological chambers, primarily designed for use with moving bed filter media. Continuous movement of the media provides optimal oxygen transfer and maximises bacterial efficiency.

In addition to moving bed media, the chamber design also allows the use of alternative biological filter materials, such as:

• Japanese filter mats

• Sera Siporax

• other stone-based or porous biological media

This flexibility allows pond keepers and installers to tailor the filtration setup to stocking levels, pond size or personal preference.

Equipped with 4 × 110 mm inlets and outlets, the Biochamber 250 integrates easily into gravity-fed or pumped installations. The internal flow path reduces resistance and prevents dead spots.

Manufactured from premium polypropylene (PP), the Biochamber 250 is built for long-term outdoor use. Each unit is manufactured in the Netherlands and tested to professional standards.

The MPF Biochamber 250 is supplied as standard without a grid or screen at the inlets and outlets.

When using moving bed filter media, the customer must install a suitable grid or media screen to prevent the filter material from being carried into the next filter chamber or return line.

A suitable solution is, for example, a Ø110 mm grid tube (not included).
